How to Get Started
There are two doors into The Community, and you can pick either: choose your therapist directly, or call the main line and let us match you. Both paths end in the same place, a free 15-minute consult where you meet the therapist and feel the fit.

Re-matching
If the fit is wrong, we help you find a better one, inside or outside The Community; group access remains either way
Choose Your Therapist
If you already know who you want to work with, go straight to them. Read the bios on the team page, and email or call your therapist directly. Direct-to-therapist is a full front door, not a workaround: picking your own therapist is Door 1 by design, and the free 15-minute consult and fee conversation work exactly the same on this path. Rather be matched? The main line and the form below are Door 2.
Call the Main Line
If you’d rather be matched, Grey handles it personally.
Call 404-590-2993, email welcome@communityatlanta.com, or send the form below.
On weekdays, someone responds by phone or email the same day.
A few minutes on what’s bringing you in and what kind of help fits.
We pair you with the therapist whose work matches yours.
You meet the therapist, feel the fit, talk fees openly, and book the first session if it’s right.
And if the match turns out wrong once the work starts, we help you find a better fit, inside or outside The Community; no awkward breakup required. Group access remains either way.
The Free 15-Minute Consult
The consult exists so you never book a first session blind. You meet the therapist who’d be yours, ask what you want to ask, and get a feel for whether this is a person you can work with. It’s also where the fee conversation happens. Details are on the pricing page.
What the First Conversations Screen For
If you call the main line, the first call is with Grey, who looks at which therapist might be a fit for you if you’re looking for individual therapy. Then comes the handoff: your first call and first session with your therapist look at whether therapy with us is right for you, and over the first one to three sessions, whether group is right for you too. Both steps are for your sake: fit and group readiness. Fit means matching you to the right therapist and, eventually, the right group. Readiness means not moving you toward a group before the work supports it. And if what you’re carrying needs something we don’t do, we’ll say so plainly and refer you out warmly rather than hold on to a bad fit.
Send My Contact Form
The form asks exactly four things: name, phone, what’s bringing you in, and best times to call. Nothing too deep or revealing; a simple summary.
Just Here for a Group?
Group-only enrollment is open to any adult (18+) who isn’t a Community individual client, including people already in therapy elsewhere. The catalog, prices, and how screening works are on the groups page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Same day on weekdays. Call 404-590-2993, email welcome@communityatlanta.com, or send the contact form, and a real person responds by phone or email that day during the week. The form asks for your best times to call precisely so a call lands when you can actually answer, not while you’re in a meeting.
Yes, that’s Door 1. Read the bios on the team page, see who each therapist works with, and email or call the one who sounds like your person directly from their page. Nobody is funneled through a matching process they didn’t ask for, and the free consult works the same either way.
We help you find a therapist who is a better fit, inside or outside The Community. Fit is part of the free consult, but sometimes the incompatibility only shows up once the work starts, and if it does, our hope is that you tell us so we can help find a relationship that is helpful and healing. Ideally, this would be inside the practice, and the work continues instead of restarting. However, it is more important that you find your person than that you remain in individual work with us. Group access remains either way.
A short, human screening conversation: what’s bringing you in, what kind of help you’re looking for, and what times work for you. From there you’re matched to a therapist and scheduled for the free 15-minute consult, where you meet them and feel the fit.
No. Call, email, or send the form yourself; no physician referral, insurance authorization, or outside paperwork is required to start. If another therapist or doctor suggested The Community, that works too: you reach out to us yourself, and for group-only enrollment, if desired, we’ll coordinate with your consent so your existing care stays connected to your new Community.
If you’re in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room. The Community is not an emergency service.
