TWO KINDS OF HOUSEHOLD

Who Drives Over From Johns Creek

Two kinds of Johns Creek households find this page. The first is the individual whose treatment program’s discharge planner just handed them a recommendation: ongoing therapy plus a recovery support group. That combination is this practice’s ordinary shape, and the recovery aftercare page walks it end to end, from screening conversation to how a standing group holds the months after a program.
The second is everyone else: couples negotiating a hard season, parents who need family work, professionals whose stress has outgrown self-management. The general practice is individual and couples and family therapy with the group room attached, and none of it requires a recovery story to belong here.

TWO DOORS, ONE FEE

The Model, Briefly

For our adult clients, individual therapy includes group, on an on-ramp that respects readiness: no one joins a group in week one. The group door also opens on its own to any adult 18 or over, including people keeping a therapist elsewhere. Seven groups are enrolling now: SUD Recovery Process Group, Thursday Process Group, Wednesday Process Group, The Lunch Bunch, Tuesday Process Group, Professionals Group, and Anger Management. The Lunch Bunch, the Tuesday Process Group, and Anger Management meet virtually. Building Better Relationships is coming in early 2027 and Feelings 101 is coming Spring 2027; the groups page holds every format and status.

Each therapist’s rate is on their own page, linked from the team page, and a limited number of reduced-fee sessions are available (ask at your consult); a group at the same frequency comes included in your individual fee, and the group-only rate is $25 per session, with group prices published on the pricing page.

Recovery-oriented groups with a screening conversation before any first session, individual therapy that can pair with them, and plain honesty about what we are: The Community is not a substance use disorder treatment program, and its groups support recovery rather than replace treatment. The recovery aftercare page walks the whole shape.
Yes. The group-only rate exists for exactly that arrangement: your therapist stays your therapist, and with your consent, if desired, the group’s facilitator and your therapist coordinate so the two rooms work together on the same life.
Each therapist’s rate is on their own page, linked from the team page, with a group at the same frequency included in your individual fee. A limited number of reduced-fee sessions are available; reduced-fee spots are limited and vary by therapist, so ask at your consult. The group-only rate is $25 per session, and group prices are on the pricing page.
Call 404-590-2993 for a same-day response on weekdays (by phone or email), or read the team page and email a therapist directly. A free 15-minute consult comes before anything else, in person or by telehealth, and every group begins with a screening conversation.
If you’re in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room. The Community is not an emergency service
