NO PRETENDING ABOUT THE RUSH

The Drive Home That Ends at a Group

Evening northbound 400 is the rush; there is no pretending otherwise. What is also true: it is the direction half the perimeter already drives at day’s end, home to Roswell, Alpharetta, and beyond. You drive home with your neighbors, the rush is thinning by the time an evening group would start, and the practice sits a few turns off the exit.
For the nights the highway wins anyway, there is a release valve: individual, couples, and family therapy run on telehealth anywhere in Georgia, and three groups meet virtually: The Lunch Bunch, the Tuesday Process Group, and Anger Management.

What Sandy Springs mostly has is therapy in one room or groups in another; the model here is integrated, individual and group together in one fee, distinct from add-on groups and from group-replacing-therapy models alike.

TWO DOORS, ONE FEE

The Model, Briefly

For our adult clients, individual therapy includes group, with an on-ramp: no one joins a group in week one. Any adult 18 or over can also join group-only. Seven groups are enrolling now: SUD Recovery Process Group, Thursday Process Group, Wednesday Process Group, The Lunch Bunch, Tuesday Process Group, Professionals Group, and Anger Management, all catalogued on the groups page.

Each therapist’s rate is on their own page, linked from the team page, and a limited number of reduced-fee sessions are available; ask at your consult. A group at the same frequency is included in your individual fee; the group-only rate is $25 per session; the pricing page has the details.

The office sits north of the worst of Atlanta traffic. It is about fourteen miles, which runs roughly twenty minutes off-peak. In the evening it is the same northbound drive home the rest of 400 is making, thinning as the evening goes on, and the office sits in downtown Alpharetta just off the exit corridor. Telehealth removes the drive entirely when needed.
Individual, couples, and family therapy are fully available by telehealth anywhere in Georgia, with the same therapists. Three groups meet virtually: The Lunch Bunch, 30 minutes weekly on Wednesdays at 12:15 PM; the Tuesday Process Group, on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 6:30 PM; and Anger Management, a 12-week closed course on Thursdays at 6:30 PM, beginning October 22, 2026.
Yes: the group-only option is built for it. Your therapist stays your therapist; with your consent, and if desired, your work there can be coordinated with the group’s facilitator here, so the two rooms work together instead of running in parallel silence.
Each therapist’s rate is on their own page, linked from the team page. A limited number of reduced-fee sessions are available; reduced-fee spots are limited and vary by therapist, so ask at your consult. A group at the same frequency is included in your individual fee. The group-only rate is $25 per session, and full details are on the pricing page.
